Here at Second Missionary Baptist Church, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2000, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. We are thankful to GOD for the privilege, opportunity and responsibility to serve at SMBC. We are grateful that GOD has allowed us to grow together, worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth. Our time at the 2nd, has been a wonderful blessing and has changed us in ways neither of us could have imagined. It is our hope and desire that whether you are online or in person that when you connect with our church, there would be transformation.
We love preaching and teaching and it is our desire to reach as many as we can through this format. We invite all who are not involved in other church studies to come and be a part of our learning environment.
We gratefully acknowledge that people have seen many different blessings from being involved in our ministries. We petition heaven that your experiences with GOD and SMBC, will help you on our journey.

We are Second Baptist. A church who loves GOD, Worships JESUS and are Empowered by The HOLY SPIRIT. We do our best to reach our to our fellow man and our community. Teaching is what we do, knowledge and education of the scriptures is where it's at. And we do what we can to bring about their knowledge. Dedication, Discipleship and Desire are positive developments for growth and relationship. As we let GOD be praised!

The Focus of Our Efforts is ministry
SUNDAY SCHOOL 9:30 AM.
Making a Difference
Our adult Sunday school class in the sanctuary starts at 9:30 am. Due to the pademic we are on Zoom and Greg Smith facebook page live as well. (You have to call Dr. Smith for the Zoom code) We are fulfilling the Great Commssion given by JESUS commanding us to make disciples. We are dedicated to our teaching ministries and we push them with a passion. We have and are learning the biblial disciplines and doctrines of the Bible. We are taking our time to discover the hidden mysteries and truths found in GOD'S Word. Come join us anytime, especially if you want a solid foundation through doctrinal teaching.
HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE WITH PUROSE! 9:45AM.

This class is held in our parsonage, it starts at 9:45 every Sunday morning. Due to the crisis, we are meeting on Second Baptist Church live facebook page and Bill Nicholson facebook live page as well. In this class we are learning the proper precedures for accurate biblical interprettation. We feel this is the way to equip our congregation for Spiritual Warfare and the obstacles we have to face day to day. If you want to know how to study your Bible with intent and purpose we invite you to tune in every Sunday morning at 9:45.
